Organizational
Purpose

Grizzly Ranch was established to address the growing need for permanent, humane placement of non-releasable wildlife. Many of the animals in our care were rescued from unsafe, neglectful, or inappropriate situations and cannot survive in the wild.

Our organization exists to ensure these animals live with dignity, expert care, and minimal stress for the remainder of their lives.

Programs & Services

Grizzly Ranch fulfills its mission through the following core programs:

  • Wildlife Rescue & Lifelong Care

Providing permanent sanctuary, daily care, enrichment, and veterinary oversight for rescued bears and wildlife.

  • Educational Outreach

Offering guided, appointment-only visits focused on conservation, animal welfare, and ethical wildlife practices.

  • Conservation Advocacy

Promoting public understanding of wildlife protection, habitat preservation, and the consequences of human-wildlife conflict.

Guiding Principles

  • Education is delivered ethically and respectfully

  • Animal wellbeing takes priority over public access

  • All residents receive lifelong care

MEET THE ANIMALS

Our Animal Residents

Each animal at Grizzly Ranch has a unique story. Coming to Grizzly Ranch fro facilities that have been closed down or over capacity. From playful cubs to gentle seniors, our residents are ambassadors for wildlife education and conservation.

BEARS

Tonk is our oldest lightest colored Grizzly at Grizzly Ranch.  Born in 2006 in a bear park in Georgia.  Raised by Dexter. He has been with us since a cub.

TONK

YOGI

Yogi was born in 2011.  He arrived at the ranch at 8 months old.  Born in Captivity in Georgia and the Bear park was closed down and he needed a new home. Yogi is a large Grizzly/Syrian Brown Bear.

KODY

Kody is the first Kodiak to come to Grizzly Ranch in 2021.  He was a single cub that couldn't be kept because the facility was over capacity. He was raised with Buddy, a great Pyrenees/German Shepard mix.

BITSY AND BOO

Bitsy & Boo were born in 2025.  Two female kodiaks born up north in New Jersey.  They needed placement and we were able to take them in no problem! They have been a joy to have at the ranch! Lots of character of two sisters always playing.
